- It consists of four chambers, which are super imposed over one another compartment
- Each chamber works as an independent juice clarifier
- All the compartments are feeded through center tube
- Mechanically operated gate to each compartment
- Compartments ensure continuous mud and juice withdrawal
- Clarification takes place when each compartment is filled with raw heated or partly filled juice. In this process, no turbulence is transmitted from one chamber to another
- To avoid mixing with settled juice with fresh in coming juice, the deflector plate in circular shape is provided just below the feed opening in center tube
- The deflecting baffles also avoid any disturbance of mud settled in mud boots
- Clear juice flows in the take off pipes and is withdrawn with the help of juice overflow box
- Designed in perfect circular form, the internal juice pipe runs across the circumference of the clarifier shell,
- Inlet openings to clear juice pipe and several numbers with small diameter to avoid turbidity that is generally developed in bigger diameter pipes
- Thickned mud is taken out by mud withdrawal overflow box. This box is mechanically controlled by telescopic valves
- Center tube fixed with sixteen rake arms four each compartment regularly scrapping settled MUD into Mu boot & bottom cone
- For air take-off, each compartment is connected with vent pipe
- Each compartment is connected to common vent raised to clarifier top
It is designed as per following process: - Turbide juice from the mills and expressed dark green acid are subjected to chemical as well as physical treatments by screening
- Application of Milk of Lime with subsequent elevations of Temperature to boiling stages for rendering the Non-Sugar substances insoluble and those suitable for Mechanical separation.
Other details: - Specially designed mud seals are impregnated with steel foil that is compressed towards center tube machined pad
- For repair and cleaning, each chamber is 1524 mm high
- Bigger diameter flocculation chamber enables particles to colesle and form large floes
- With the help of hinged floe collecting bar, floes scrapped to channel
- The mud scrapper arms are fixed with hinged scraper connected rubber soft material to avoid metallic friction between tray plates & scrapper and for mud scrapping
- The scrapper tips are replaceable
- Juice before enter to flocculation chamber passed through baffle mixer placed between flash tank and tangential feed entry reduced in coming velocity of juice to clarifier

- All parts in contact with sugar juice are designed using stainless steel

- As most screen sizes utilize taper roller bearings in the design, therefore, the drive power requirements are minimal
- The positive drive, which uses roller chain, avoids slip which can occur with other friction drives
- External sprays bars of Rotating Screen help in preventing build-up of harmful bacteria and maintaining operating efficiency
- To facilitate transportation and on-site installation, rotating screen is supplied fully assembled on the support frame

Avail from us Rotary Vacuum Cane Mud Filters, which are offered in various material and drum constructions. These most advanced filtration systems are mainly utilized in sugar industry. As per the construction material of the drum, each filter is provided with stainless steel screens and polypropylene or stainless steel ribbed brass deckings. In order to maintain a complete vacuum seal, the drum is separated by divisional as well as caulking strips. Other details: - Drum is divided into number of sections
- Through a specially designed automatic rotary valve-aunique feature of filters, each section of the drum is provided with vacuum
- To create a higher vacuum, this valve can be adjusted in the washing zone; this results in a drier cake discharge
- The filter drum rotates in the slurry bath of the filter tank
- To form a continuous cake on the screen surface, the filtrate is withdrawn through the screen. This ensures uniform thickness of the cake
- To increase sugar level, the filter cake on the screen is washed with hot water through drip pipes. After this, the cake is discharged by a floating scraper
- For flexibility in the operation, the filter is equipped with a variable speed drive
- Because of this, the filter can easily handle slurries of varying and fluctuating characteristics

The press is designed to extract maximum moisture from the fibers and cellulose obtained from different process or equipments.
